English: Sheehan House 206 Maple Avenue with stone foundation, Five bay front with center door & floor to ceiling windows, double hung, Five bay porch across front. Turn post and machine cut trim. South facade has bay with bracketed cornice, door with braced gable hood. Several additions and small porch at rear. Box cornice: standing seam metal roof. Brick chimneys at north end and in rear. Good example of 19th century vernacular residence, frame, located in the oldest part of town. Originally stood on Bullock lot at Maple & Shelby, moved to present site about 1893. Sheehan bought from Bullock heirs in 1919 - he was owner of Feed & Grain business at foot of Maple Avenue.
