Education 1.—Psychology as applied to the work of teaching develops clearlythe principles of education. It will be correlated with thestudy of the history of education. 2.—History of Education.—In this there will be an attempt to readthe trend of educational progress as seen in the advance ofnations. This may be seen in the social organization; theaim, means, method, and administration of government withits results, social and individual; education will be viewedas seen from the viewpoint of Greek, Oriental, Roman, EarlyChristian, Middle Ages, The Renaissance, The Reformation,and Modern Times, and in North Carolina. 3.—School Management.—This will examine Instruction, Discipline,Recitation, Organization, etc., with special methods for specialsubjects. * Industries Course E, Mathematics, Latin or French.
