English: Shaldon village - ship's arrival Passing so close to the photographer's feet it is a wonder the ship is still afloat as it gets some help from the local tug to take it on its tortuous 'S' bend entrance to Teignmouth Docks. Of course over the years several ships have gone aground on the sandy bottom, but with a flat bottomed hull it is not usually disastrous. |
