Description
English: Shakshuka originated in Tunisia but became popular in Jerusalem. The dish was traditionally consumed for its affordability. Recently, Ottolenghi increased the popularity of the dish by featuring it in the cookbook Plenty. In the picture, the dish was made with chopped tomatoes, onion, poached eggs, and cilantro.
