Description

We want to determine the sphere S tangent the faces of G and also tangent the sphere R

  • Solution
    • Determines the locus of points equidistant from the faces of G, in this case it is the line bisector r
      ** Determines the locus of points equidistant from the sphere and one of the planes of the trihedron, for example α. The locus is a revolve paraboloid K
    • Determines the intersection point C between the line r and the paraboloid K
    • With center in C and radius equal to the minimum distance of C from one of the three plans of G, we can model the wanted sphere S

    • si determina il punto d`intersezione C tra la retta r ed il paraboloide K
    • con centro in C e raggio = alla distanza minima di C da uno dei tre piani, si modella la sfera cercata S
