Description

PLEASE, no multi invitations, glitters or self promotion in your comments, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE for anyone to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks - NONE OF MY PICTURES ARE HDR.

The icons on the north and south doorway are very different, together with the icons on the archpriest's throne. After the installing the bells, the iconostasis and some other minor works this church acquired its present appearance. Prominent people were buried in the churchyard.

There is evidence that the church excited in 1731. The temple of that time was made of sticks, mud and straw. The construction of the present church began around 1765. The particular beauty of this temple makes its iconostasis with its carving of The Virgin Mary's Throne, the archpriest's throne and church furniture of the rare beauty, done by the domestic wood-carvers.
