En este primer sello de Milhau se halla sin duda la más antigua representación del escudo de armas de los palos como emblema, no como arma defensiva llevada por una persona; la más antigua, quizá, no sólo entre las hoy conocidas, sino entre las que han existido
El escudo real, con su bloca, copiado de los sellos de Ramon Berenguer IV o de sus hijos menores.
