English: Carkeek-Plestcheeff family plot, Lake View Cemetery, Seattle, Washington, U.S. British-born Morgan and Emily Carkeek moved to Seattle in 1885. Morgan Carkeek donated the land for Carkeek Park, Emily Carkeek founded the Seattle Historical Society in 1911, Guendolen Carkeek Plestcheeff founded the Plestcheeff Decorative Arts Institute in 1987.
