Deutsch: Abiturienten des Abschlussjahrgangs 1930 vor dem Hauptgebäude Diesseits des reformpädagogischen Landerziehungsheims Schule am Meer im Loog auf der ostfriesischen Insel Juist in Preußen. Rechts hinten erkennt man den östlichen Anbau mit Speisesaal, in dem von 1925 bis 1931 auch Theater-, Schulchor- und Schulorchesterproben und -aufführungen stattfanden, bevor die freistehende Bühnenhalle durch den Berliner Architekten Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948) errichtet worden war, die Pfingsten 1931 eröffnet wurde. Von links nach rechts: Hans-Ulrich Arnold (* 24. Juni 1908 in Kiel), Felix Franz Victor Henn (* 10. März 1910 in Frankfurt am Main), Walter Georg Kühne (* 26. Februar 1911 in Berlin; † 16. März 1991), Gerhard „Gerd“ Bry (* 29. Juni 1911 in Berlin; † 17. August 1996 in West Orange, New Jersey, USA) und Hild Wehnert (* 26. März 1911 in Breslau).

From the left: Hans-Ulrich Arnold (* 24 June, 1908 in Kiel), Felix Franz Victor Henn (* 10 March, 1910 in Frankfurt am Main), Walter Georg Kühne (* 26 February, 1911 in Berlin; † 16 March, 1991), Gerhard „Gerd“ Bry (* 29 June, 1911 in Berlin; † 17 August, 1996 in West Orange, New Jersey, USA), and Hild Wehnert (* 26 March 1911 in Breslau, Silesia). The five graduates ar lying in front of the boarding-school's main building which was named Diesseits (The Here and Now). Its adjacent eastern annex in the back housed the school's dining-room which also was used for rehearsals and concerts of the school's choir and orchestra as well as for the school's stage play, both until the school's separate theater hall was erected in 1930/31 by Berlin-based architect Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948) and opened at Pentecost 1931.
