Description

USAID's School Health Reading Program has trained more than 26,000 teachers from 4,000 Ugandan schools in early grade reading methodology, developed 104 student books and teacher guides in collaboration with the Uganda National Curriculum Development Centre, and printed and distributed over 2.5 million books for grades one through four.
