Deutsch: Schongau, Reichsadler auf dem Denkmal (civitas escongoensis…) vor dem Rathaus in der Münzstraße. Der Adler ist eine Kopie eines in Augsburg befindlichen Originals, das von dem frühbarocken Schongauer Bildhauer Hans Reichle stammt. Das Denkmal wurde am 1968-11-13 anlässlich des 700. Stadtjubiläums Schongaus aufgestellt.
Esperanto: Schongau (DE), imperia aglo sur monumento (civitas escongoensis concordia crescit) antaû la urbodomo en la strato Münzstrasse. La aglo estas kopio de originalo troviĝanta en Aŭgsburgo kaj kreita de la fru-baroka skulptisto Hans Reichle el Schongau. La monumento estis metita je 1968-11-13 okaze de la 700-jariĝo de la urbo Schongau.
