Deutsch: Das Biosphährenreservat Mittelelbe schließt den Schollerer See - eher schon zur Fusslandschaft Untere Havel gehörend - in die Schutzzone mit ein. Vom westlich des Gewässers gelegenen "Jütschow" genannten Hügel schweift der Blick über einen auf wässerigen Grund schwimmenden Erlenbruchwald zum Dorf Schollene. Links im Bild das schwimmende Floß zur Gewinnung von Schlämmen aus der 5 Meter mächtigen Faulschlammablagerung. Das Produkt wird als "Pelose" seit 80 Jahren für medizinische Anwendungen vermarktet. 2015 kam es bei Sturm zu einem etwa 100 x 250 Meter messenden Abriss des Erlenbruchwaldes, der als schwimmende Insel quer über den See trieb und an der Süd-Ost-Ecke "anlandete" und hier zunächst den Ausfluss des Sees zur Havel und die Einfahrt der Schlammförderung zur Weiterverarbeitung verstopfte. Der Schollener See erlangte wegen seiner Vogelwelt in Fachkreisen Bekanntheit. Lach-, Sturm- und Silbermöwen, Fluss- und Trauerseeschwalben, Graugänse, Große und Zwergrohrdommel, Hauben- und Schwarzhalstaucher, Rohrweihen und Kormorane haben hier gebrütetet. An Kleinodien unter den Kleinvögeln sind Blaukehlchen, Karmingimpel und Rohrschwirl zu nennen. |
