Description
Deutsch: Der Bildhauer und Maler widmete seinen Brunnen den Bürgerinnen und Bürgern des Karlsruher Stadtteils, die den Beinamen ‚Schlaucher‘ tragen. Möglicherweise kommt der Begriff daher, dass sich die Daxlander bei der Gründung des Dorfes einst eine windgeschützte Mulde, eine ‚sluch‘ (Schlauch) ausgesucht hatten. Der Brunnen besteht aus einer kleinen, männlichen Figur mit großem Fisch und Reliefs, die Menschen bei der Verrichtung verschiedener Arbeiten zeigen.
