Summary[edit]
DescriptionSchematic induction regulator.svg |
English: This is a schematic of the connection of stator and rotor windings of an induction regulator. The goal in this case is to provide a continuous (analogic) variable transformer at the end of the line N+1-2-3.
Machine is powered by rotor slip-rings terminals R-S-T. Ratio can be controlled by rotating the rotor inside the stator. Given that stator and rotor have the same number of turns, the output voltage will be in the range of [0,2U] being U the input voltage. Hereafter the resulting electric phasor diagram. We can regard this connection as a modification of this schematic. |
