Deutsch: Schönheide im Erzgebirge: Die Spitze des Turms der Martin-Luther-Kirche erreicht eine Höhe von 43,5 Metern und ist damit der höchste gebaute Punkt Schönheides. Dieser Turm wurde wohl schon mit der ersten Kirche 1596 errichtet und 1692 mit einem achteckigen Aufbau erhöht. Damit ist er der älteste Teil der Kirche, denn das Kirchenschiff stürzte am 9. Januar 1764 ein. Es wurde von 1766 an neu im Rokoko-Stil gebaut. Der Bau konnte erst 1835 mit Innenausbau und -ausmalung beendet weder. Die Wetterfahne trägt die Jahreszahl „2000“ und erinnert damit an die gründliche Sanierung der äußeren Hülle Ende der 1990er und zu Beginn der 2000er Jahre. Die damals entfernte Wetterfahne trug die Jahreszahl „1699“ und die Buchstaben „ICVP“. Diese Buchstabenkombination ziert auch die Wetterfahne des Jahres 2000. Die alte Wetterfahne wird im Schönheider Bürsten- und Heimatmuseum ausgestellt. |
