Deutsch: Schönheide im Erzgebirge Als „stadtähnlich gebaut“ beschrieben schon zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts die Verfasser von Regionalgeographien das große, einwohnerstarke Dorf mit um die 5.000 Einwohner schon um 1800. Hier der Blick vom Knock nach Ost-Nord-Ost: Im Taleinschnitt des (in den 1920er/1930er Jahren verrohrten) Dorfbachs, der von Westen nach Osten fließt: Links der gelbe Backsteinbau ist die 1898 eröffnete Schule im Zentrum (Direktor von 1898 an Max Grohmann). Weiter abwärts steht die Martin-Luther-Kirche. Das Fachwerkhaus davor ist das Bürsten- und Heimatmuseum: Rechts das grün gestrichene Gebäude mit dem grauen Türmchen ist das Rathaus von 1882. Oberhalb der geschlossenen Bebauung ist im linken Bereich der Webersberg zu sehen. Blick auf das Dorf von einem Standpunkt etwas unterhalb der Grohmannsbank. |
