Description
English: Schema of the blockhauss in Capbreton (Landes, France).

At the time of WWII,the entire battery bore the reference Ba14.
The waterfront blockhauss are numbered in blue from B1 to B6.
All blockhauss have their German army type:

  • M283SK: Small machine shelter for a 4, 10 or 15kVA machine assembly.
  • R610: Command headquarters of a company and battery.
  • R612: casemate for field cannon.
  • R622: double collective casemate for 20 men.
  • R636: command post for coastal battery of the Army.
  • R652: casemate for artillery piece pivoting 120° on base.
Français : Schéma des blockhauss de Capbreton (Landes).

L'ensemble de la batterie portait la référence Ba14.
Les blockhauss du front de mer sont numérotés en bleu B1 à B6.
Tous les blockhauss comportent leur type de l'armée allemande:

  • M283SK : Petit abri machine pour un ensemble machine 4, 10 ou 15kVA.
  • R610 : Quartier Général de commandement d’une compagnie et batterie.
  • R612 : casemate pour canon de campagne.
  • R622 : casemate collective double pour 20 hommes.
  • R636 : poste de commandement pour batterie côtière de l’armée de terre.
  • R652 : casemate pour pièce d’artillerie pivotante à 120° sur soubassement .
