English: Bilingual (German/English) information board about the glacial erratic Uskam aka Little Heligoland – in the text referred to as Uskan – in Sassnitz, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. This geotope is a designated natural monument, situated north of the Kurplatz.
Deutsch: Zweisprachige (Deutsch/Englisch) Informationstafel zum Findling Uskam – dort im Text als Uskan bezeichnet – in Sassnitz, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Deutschland. Der im Uferbereich der Strandpromenade nördlich des Kurplatzes gelegene Uskam – spöttisch auch Klein Helgoland genannt –, ist der sechstgrößte bekannte Findling auf der Insel Rügen. Er ist als Geotop erfasst und als Naturdenkmal ausgewiesen. |
