Summary[edit]

Description Santuário constituído por sete capelas que recordam as principais cenas da Paixão de Cristo. A construção destes templos terá sido iniciada pelo Frei Gaspar da Piedade, após uma viagem a Roma e Jerusálem, durante a qual escapou a um naufrágio. Por essa razão decidiu edificar este santuário, com vista para um dos locais mais perigosos do rio Douro. Do monte de São Salvador avistam-se quintas, o rio Douro e a barragem da Valeira, onde faleceu o marido de "Dona Ferreirinha". <a href="http://dourovalley.eu/poi?id=6981" rel="nofollow">dourovalley.eu/poi?id=6981</a>
