Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sandy Bell's, Forrest Road The Forrest Hill Bar, re-named after a former landlord's nickname, is world-famous for its folk music entertainment. One regular patron was the late Hamish Henderson who founded the University's School of Scottish Studies after the Second World War and was a key figure in the Scottish (British) Folk Revival of the 1950s and 60s. Folk artists, both local and international, simply drop in and contribute to the spontaneous and impromptu performances.
