| Description |
English: Sandbank on the River Dee On this very tight bend in the river, near Crewe Hill, a sandbank is being deposited on the inside of the bend during times of flood. This deposition and also erosion on the outside of the bend is part of the process for forming 'oxbow' lakes. |
