Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Sanctuary of the Child Jesus (also known as the Church of the Barnabites) is a religious building from the early 20th century, located on Avenue Brugmann, in Brussels (municipality of Forest). Built by the Barnabite fathers shortly after their arrival in Brussels, it quickly became a center of pilgrimage to the Child Jesus (of Prague). The church is not parochial. Pastoral services related to the sanctuary are provided by the Barnabite fathers. The first stone of the current church-sanctuary, the work of architect Léopold Pepermans, was laid in April 1905. Work progressed quickly and the building was consecrated on October 18, 1906.
