Français : Hôtel de ville de San Francisco, il zst situé dans les deux pâtés de maisons entre les rues Polk, Grove et McAllister et Van Ness Avenue dans le quartier Civic Center de San Francisco. Il a été construit en 1915 pour remplacer l'ancien hôtel de ville, achevé en 1899, qui fut détruit lors du tremblement de terre et de l'incendie de 1906. Le bâtiment actuel a été conçu par Arthur Brown, Jr., de Bakewell & Brown, dans le style Beaux-Arts , dans le cadre du mouvement City Beautiful, et pour ancrer un centre civique revitalisé.
English: San Francisco City Hall, located in the two square blocks between Polk, Grove and McAllister Streets and Van Ness Avenue in the Civic Center neighborhood of San Francisco, California, was built in 1915 as a replacement for the previous City Hall, completed in 1899, which was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire. The current building was designed by Arthur Brown, Jr., of Bakewell & Brown, in the Beaux-Arts style, as part of the "City Beautiful" movement, and to anchor a revitalized Civic Center.
