Description
English: Rear Adm. Albert Garcia III, (center) Civil Engineer Corps deputy commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, deputy chief of civil engineers, and his wife, Cindy, ride the Navy battleship float with Cmdr. Vincent Ortiz, executive officer (left), and Cmdr. Mark Hofman, (right) commander of the Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC) San Antonio, and Cmdr. Eric C. Cash, commander USS San Antonio (LPD 17), in the Battle of Flowers Parade with Sailors from NOSC, Navy Recruiting District San Antonio, and Naval Technical Training Center marching along side in the Battle of Flowers Parade as part of Navy Week. The San Antonio Navy Week includes performances by the U.S. Naval Academy band Electric Brigade, appearances by Sailors from USS San Antonio and speaking engagements by flag officers.
