| Description |
Владимирский скит Валаамского монастыря был последним храмовым комплексом, в котором покойный Патриарх Алексий II совершил чин Великого освящения (на Рождество Богородицы в 2008 году). Храмовый комплекс Владимирского скита включает в себя храм святого равноапостольного князя Владимира, крестильный храм мученицы Людмилы Чешской и храм Всех святых, в земле Российской просиявших. Закладной камень в основание скита был освящен Святейшим Патриархом Алексием 11 июля 2002 года, в день памяти основателей Валаамской обители преподобных Сергия и Германа Валаамских. 10 июля 2006 года был совершен чин освящения закладного камня храмового комплекса. 10 июля 2009 года Святейший Патриарх Кирилл открыл при Владимирском ските музей имени Патриарха Алексия II. Сейчас здесь начинается фресковая роспись, которую должны выполнить ученики архимандрита Зинона (Теодора). Иконы также выполнены ими. |
