ARABIAN SEA (April 3, 2017) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Marc Michel, left, helps Sonar Technician Surface 3rd Class Austin Larson connect a span wire to a kingpost cargo station aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Mahan (DDG 72) during a replenishment-at-sea. Mahan is part of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group, which is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
