U.S. 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (March 27, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Ronaldjay Juego, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108), signals an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Black Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4, as it transports cargo from Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) during a replenishment-at-sea. Wayne E. Meyer is on a western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend U.S. 3rd Fleet command and control functions into the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
