English: United Space Alliance technician Glen Hall (left) and engineer Jason McBride (right) manually pushed the doors into the locked position following retraction of space shuttle Discovery’s nose landing gear. Discovery was being prepared for its ferry flight back to the Kennedy Space Center in the Mate-Demate Device at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center after its landing at Edwards Air Force Base at the end of mission STS-128 on Sept. 11, 2009. |
