Summary[edit]

Description
English: Steam Engine ‘M.T.R:1’ was originally built for the Karachi Port Trust by the British Firm of DOCK KEER & COMPANY in 1910. This locomotive which has an oversized chimney worked at the Marala Timber Depot from 1917-1922 after which it was finally brought to the Greosoting plant at Dilwan on the Northern Railway. Now this locomotive is displayed outside Northern Railway Headquarters Building at Baroda House in New Delhi.
