| Description |
English: "SS Miguel M. de Pinillos", painted by Josep Pineda Guerra. Built at the James Laing shipyard in Sunderland, England by order of the Pinillos ship-owners, who received it in 1885. Miguel M. Pinillos was 109 m long, 13.79 m beam and 9.43 m depth, and tonnages 3,291 GRT and 2,198 NRT. Originally destined for the Caribbean foute, it sailed for more than 30 years without too many incidents. After the Great War, and a season laid up, the Pinillos company sold it to the Basque shipping company Abrizqueta y Compañía, which named it Juan Abrizqueta, name with which it sailed for three years until it was scrapped in 1923. |
