SARS-CoV-2 Infection Structural Analysis at Atomic Resolution

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The COVID19 pandemic has been going on for two years causing so many disruptions in our daily lives. Structural analysis at atomic resolution can be very useful to help fight the virus. Starting on top: SARS-CoV-2 structural model where antibodies (magenta) are approaching and attacking the virus. On the right: the spike glycoprotein (cyan) binding to an antibody (magenta) showing the exact location of interactions. On the bottom: 80R antibody engineered to bind and neutralize SARS-CoV-2 spikes showing the details of mutated amino acids. Structural analysis performed with UCSF Chimera software ( https://doi.org/10.3897/rio.6.e55281 )
