The original finding aid described this as: Description: STS-43 Mission Specialist (MS) Shannon W. Lucid concentrates on Development Test Objective (DTO) 1208, Space Station Cursor Control Device Evaluation II and Advanced Applications, with her back to the onorbit station control panels on the aft flight deck of Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104. Next to her, Commander John E. Blaha (center), holding checklist, looks out overhead window W7. Pilot Michael A. Baker temporarily looks away from his work and at the crewmember taking the picture. Image 012 was selected by the Public Affairs Office (PAO) for public release.
