| Description |
Deutsch: gebaut 1885 von Krauss in Linz, Achsfolge C n2t. Die dreifachgekuppelten Maschinen dieser Bauart waren eine Nachlieferung, nachdem sich die ursprünglich gelieferten Zweikuppler auf der steigungsreichen Strecke Hietzing–Mödling als zu leistungsschwach erwiesen hatten. Nach der Einstellung des Dampfstraßenbahnbetriebes 1922 wurde die Lokomotive zur Liesinger Schleppbahn verkauft. 1961 wurde sie zurückgeholt und für die Einstellung der Linie 13 reaktiviert. Seit dem Ablauf der Kesselfrist 1978 ist die Maschine ein kaltes Museumsstück. Einer erneuten Aufarbeitung stehen die ungünstigen Einsatzbedingungen im Weg. Die Maschine ist mit 2,50 m für viele Strecken zu breit und zusätzlich zu langsam, um im Regelbetrieb mithalten zu können. |
