Description
Français : Le séchage de poissons à Rumonge est une pratique traditionnelle qui permet de conserver le poisson pour une utilisation future. Rumonge, une ville côtière, est conçue pour ses activités de pêche, et le séchage de poissons fait partie intégrante de son économie locale. Les poissons sont disposés sur de grandes grilles puis exposés au soleil pour sécher. Ce processus élimine l'humidité du poisson, ce qui prolonge sa durée de conservation et facilite son transport et sa vente. Les techniques de séchage varient, mais elles sont toutes basées sur des méthodes simples et naturelles. Les poissons séchés sont ensuite vendus sur les marchés locaux ou exportés vers d'autres régions, jouant un rôle important dans la subsistance des familles et des communautés de Rumonge.
