Description
Русский: 150 лет со дня рождения А.И. Куприна (1870–1938), писателя, переводчика. На почтовой марке почтового блока изображён портрет писателя, а на полях почтового блока — герои его повести «Гранатовый браслет» и его высказывания:
  • «Ничто так не соединяет людей, как улыбка» — из романа «Колесо времени»;
  • «Русский язык в умелых руках и в опытных устах — красив, певуч, выразителен…»;
  • «Для любви нужен особый талант»;
  • «Всякий труд возвышает человека» — из произведения «Яма»;
  • «Литература — маяк нации, по которому можно судить о её жизни, жизнеспособности, бессмертии» — из статьи «Мой герой — правда» (1926).
