Description
English: Members of the Iraqi Federal Police Force sight in on targets with their M16 rifles while participating in small-unit military tactics training at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, March 22, 2016. As part of the building partner capacity (BPC) mission, Royal Danish Army Soldiers with Task Force Al Asad provide periods of instruction on various skills to increase the tactical capabilities of the Iraqi forces in order to fight the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve BPC training is focused on combat or policing skills and includes: simple military tactics, instruction in leadership, ethics, the law of war, land navigation, battlefield medicine, counter-sniper tactics, explosive hazard awareness training, infantry skills, small unit maneuvering and combined arms obstacle breaching.
