This historical device converted an input of 6 phase AC with 415 V to 550 V DC with a maximum current of 2730 A to supply the overhead powerline of the tram. In the middle the AC slip ring, on the right side the commutator for the DC output. On the left side the small motor a aschronsous motor to start up to rotary converter. |
