English: Roman?Penannular brooch,copper alloy.Circular sectioned hoop; terminal on one side is flattened and recurved to form a complete circle and the terminal on the other side is flattened and recurved into a scroll.Terminals are at right-angles to the plane of the hoop.The terminals are touching and are offset. Pin missing.Length 33mm. Width 29mm.Thickness 2mm. Weight 4.12gms. Majority are Roman 1st & 2nd AD, The majority are Roman some are later Roman and a few are post-Roman.
