Description
English: Reconstruction of a Roman heavy-duty crane (pentaspastos) built according to a relief created around 200 AD. It is capable of lifting loads of up to five tons to a height of eight meters. It was demonstrated during a historic fest of the Bonn-Castell district committee.
Deutsch: Rekonstruktion eines römischen Schwerlastkrans, der nach dem Vorbild eines Reliefs aus dem zweiten Jahrhundert n. Chr. gebaut wurde. Er kann Lasten von bis zu fünf Tonnen bis zu acht Meter hoch heben. Der Ortsausschuss Bonn-Castell führte ihn beim Fest "Rund um den Römerkran" vor.
