| Description |
English: Roman Wall, Noble Street, London EC1 Remains of Roman fort in Noble Street.
Due to the archaeological value of the sunken site, a raised walkway has been created around it which enables visitors to view the Roman Fort without damaging the remains. The site is also believed to be one of the last remaining examples of a Second World War bomb site within the City. Between April and August the gardens meadow is awash with wildflowers. |
