Description
English: Copper alloy probable Massive terret ring fragment. Tapering horn-shaped object with a rectangular void measuring 8.5mm by 3mm at its wider end which retains flakes of rust. This is considered likely to be a fragment of an iron loop with a thick copper alloy sheath, whence the iron core has been lost to decay. Suggested date: Roman, 100-410 AD,

Length: 40.3mm, Diameter (basal): 11mm, Weight: 7.90gms.
