Title
Roman : Toilet article
Description
English: A cast copper alloy object probably Roman in date.

The object could be a strap end but is more likely to be a toilet implement such as an ear scoop. The object is formed from a flat, rectangular plate of copper alloy, which tapers slightly to base. The base is stepped and has a slightly upward pointing terminal. The opposite terminal features a small loop, set at a 90° angle to the rest of the plate. The loop is pierced. The loop would suggest that this object is more likely to be a toilet implement.

The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is pitted.
