Description
English: Rolls-Royce Griffon engine on Avro Shackleton nacelle. At Imperial War Museum Duxford.
NOTE : this Shackleton's outer nacelle contains two engines. A Rolls-Royce Griffon inline piston engine driving contra-rotating propellers in front and in the rear of the nacelle an Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbojet engine with its intake plate lowered. So this particular Shackleton has 6 engines. "Four turning and two burning!
