Summary
[edit]A practice skeleton sled at the Australian Institute of Sport. In selecting a team, potential athletes first practiced the push start, which involves a 30 metres sprint while pushing the sled. Rather than sliding on ice, this practice sled has wheels underneath so it can roll on an ordinary surface.
Photo taken by uploader during an AIS open day (Sunday May 7 2006). Permission given by the AIS to use the photo.
This image has been cleaned up: Brighten image and reduce size due to image being very blurry anyway The other image is at Roller skeleton sled-bright.jpg.
