Description |
English: A green outdoor wayside with images and information about Rodrigo Terronez Memorial Clinic An interpretive sign outside the Rodrigo Terronez Memorial Clinic. The sign reads, "A farm worker clinic, hused in a trailer, operated at the Forty Acres as early as 1968. The Rogrigo Terronez Memorial Clinic, named in honor of a dedicated union member who died in the grape strike, was built in the Mission Revival style in 1970-72. Often using volunteer doctors and nurses, the clinic provided basic health services for farmworkers, including residents of the nearby Agbayani Village after its completion. The building later has served as a United Farm Workers office."
