Description
Centsprent met 4 x 3 omkaderde houtsneden met afbeeldingen uit het verhaal van Robinson Crusoë (alias Alexander Selkirk). Hij reist naar Engeland en scheept zich in voor een reis naar Guinea. Daar lijdt hij schipbreuk en spoelt op een onbewoond eiland aan. Hij bouwt een huis, maakt een aardbeving mee, bakt potten, wordt ziek en hersteld. Hij vindt sporen van menseneters, schiet er een dood en redt Vrijdag. Ze bouwen een boot, maar worden teruggeworpen op het eiland. Uit een gestrand en verlaten schip halen ze spullen. Ze verjagen wilden en bevrijden een gevangene. Een Engels schip brengt hen weer naar Europa.
