Summary[edit]
DescriptionRobberfly with Lacewing (6698557833).jpg |
Earlier in the year we spent some time looking at the beautiful Spoon-winged Lacewings Chasmoptera hutti. It was distressing to see them become prey to the local robberflies. We never saw the lacewings with any prey or attempting to feed on insect or flowers. We also saw a Spoon-winged lacewing in a Golden orb spiderweb. Photo: Jean |
