Summary[edit]

Description
English: Interesting photograph of unknown man walking down what today is known as the Jacques Bay Road. This 'Road to Loon Lake' runs from the Loon Lake Road to Loon Lake (today known as Skootamatta Lake).
Interesting to note the young growth birch or poplar which regrows quickly after logging. Today hardwoods are present along this road including maple, beech and oak along with poplar.
