English: Technical drawing of the chair Åkerblomstolen. A chair produced in Sweden in the 1950's based on findings on how to sit in order to not get a sore back. The design was based on the findings from Dr. Bengt Åkerblom of Sweden who in his PhD thesis Standing and sitting posture investigated the optimum design of chairs. In total about 120,000 chair were sold. |
