English: Richard Evans Canal Engineer Plaque Located on the bridge at Rowleys Lock. It was found in the canal during renovations in the 1990's and restored to it rightful position.
Mr. Evans managed to be engineer for the Royal and Grand Canal constructions at the same time as this one, although he was fired from the Grand Canal for absenteeism. |
